When we think of Indian desserts, we normally come up with Chawal ki Kheer and that is one of the classics with which you can never go wrong but this one tastes amazing and adds an element of surprise when you serve it to your guests. Gobhi Ki Kheer
Preparation Time: 10minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Milk: ½ litre
Cauliflower: 10-12 florets
Cashews: 6-8, Chopped
Almonds: 2, thinly sliced
1.Grate the cauliflower florets, we only require the top part not the stem.
2.Boil the grated cauliflower in 2 cups of water. Drain the water with the help of a strainer.
3.Boil again for 2-3 minutes, this process is just done to get rid of the smell.
4.Boil the milk and add boiled cauliflower in it, let it cook.
5.Keep stirring until it becomes thick, add sugar.
6.Add dry fruits and transfer in a serving bowl.
7.Let it cool for about 5 minutes, outside or in refrigerator.
8.Garnish with almonds. And enjoy!
