Chicken Roll Recipe

My love for chicken roll dates back to my internship days in Kolkata. And, this is certainly inspired by the fabulous rolls that I enjoyed back then while returning from office as an evening snack or sometimes it used to be our dinner. But, this one isn’t one of those kati roll. Kati rolls are basically chicken chunks put on skewers like a kebab and prepared in a tandoor but this one is easy-peasy and made in a pan without skewers.

For the chicken filling, I have prepared chicken tikka marinade which is simply cooked in its own juices until it dries up. It’s the simplest recipe that you can have yet have the most delicious roll you’ll ever make. I like my parathas with eggs, I love eggs so my rolls got to have eggs in them but if you don’t like you can omit it by all means.

This chicken roll recipe is my saviour and a regular feature at my place and I generally make it for dinner. One is roll is enough as we have the liberty to increase the filling according to our appetite. You can also make the parathas ahead of time and re-heat it in a microwave if you’re preparing for a gathering. Check out some other street food recipes that I’ve shared here.
